Grand alliance: Chaudhry brothers soon to meet Zardari

LAHORE: Efforts have been initiated for the inclusion of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in the anti-Government campaign, for which the Chaudhry brothers of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PMLQ) is soon expected to meet former President, Asif Ali Zardari – ARY News reports.

According to details, the leaders of political parties which are part of the anti-Government campaign have begun efforts to gain the favor of former President Asif Ali Zardari, as PPP is one of the major political forces of the country and whose pro-democracy stance is providing firm support to the current Government, although sitting in the opposition.

PMLQ leaders, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Chaudhry Pervez Ilahi will soon meet Asif Ali Zardari and will invite him to take part in the independence march.

The Chaudhry duo is acting as a bridge among the opposition parties, for vitalizing a grand opposition alliance against the Government.

Sources told that apart from rigging in elections, issues like unemployment, load-shedding and lawlessness will also be highlighted in the independence march.

Moreover, a meeting between Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan and Chaudhry brothers is also expected in the days not so far.
