A look at the mighty protocol for Donald Trump’s 11-year-old son
WASHINGTON: The US-President Donald Trump’s family enjoys a protocol that perhaps no state dignitary in the world has.
The 11-year-old son of Trump and wife Melania were spotted playing with a group of children at the Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida a days before his inauguration at the helm.
Barron was being watched closely by several men who appeared to be Secret Service agents as he mingled with other children on the lawn at the back of his dad’s luxury estate.
At least three men were seen standing within feet of Barron the entire time and they followed the boy wherever he went.
Barron was wearing a red baseball cap just like Trump’s Make American Great Again campaign hat.
At one point, Barron was seen waving and watching on as a coast guard boat sailed past him as he stood on the ocean wall.
The NBC News had reported that they were part of a contingent of 150 security personnel assigned to watch over the Trump family as they spent their first post-election holiday at the vacation retreat.
When the Trump family had arrived at Palm Beach last week, roads were closed off to make room for the 45-vehicle convoy that included limousines, vans and a fire fighting van.
