GUJRANWALA: Thirteen people were injured when a passenger bus overturned in Gujranwala on Saturday, ARY News reported.
The bus’ tyre rod broke due to over-speeding which caused the vehicle to overturn, leaving 13 people injured.
The injured people included five women and two children.
Rescue teams reached the scene after being informed of the accident and shifted the injured persons to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Wazirabad for treatment.
It is pertinent to mention here that rash driving, poor maintenance of vehicles and dilapidated roads cause road accidents which claim hundreds of lives in Pakistan each year.
