MUMBAI: Bollywood Actress Madhuri Dixit is nowadays busy working for her upcoming film ‘Gulab gang’, the is film is regarded as her comeback film.
The cast of film also includes Juhi Chawla,Tannishtha Chatterjee, Priyanka Bose, Divya Jagdale in the lead roles.
A lot of curiosity surrounded the fact that both Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla will be appearing in the film. Though the two are contemporaries, they have never done a film together till now.
But, since Juhi is to portray a negative role, the actress felt that there is no scope of competition and she decided to do the role.
"I am so glad that I am playing a villain in the film. So you can't compare the two of us. I neither had to dance nor sing. All that has been done by Madhuri”, Juhi said.
The story of the film revolves around a group of Indian women dressed in pink coloured saris, fighting against social injustice, operating in Bundelkhand Uttar and Madhya Pradesh.
Juhi Chawla has been assigned to play the role of nefarious politician named Sumitra Devi. This is a completely new type of role for Juhi. The film release will reveal how well she can portray a negative role.
Gulab Gang is going to release on March 7.
