LAHORE: Pakistan captain Mohammad Hafeez expressed hope for a good start in the World Twenty20 with the victory over India, ARY News reported.
While adressing a press conference on Wednesday in Lahore, Mohammad Hafeez said that he feels happy about begining their journey of World T20 with the against India hoping that Pakistan will get a good takeoff in the tournament.
He said the Pakistan-India match is always a pressure match.
"Wherever you play against India, you have pressure from the media and your nation, but we will try to have a good start and build a good momentum", Hafeez added.
Speaking about Shahid Afridi's fitness, he said "Afridi will be fit in time for the World Twenty20."
Hafeez said as a skipper he need a fit Afridi, and that's why they have given him time to rehab.
Team Manager Zakir Khan also expressed hope that Afridi could join the team on Monday and will take part in the warmup match against New Zealand.
Team Pakistan will leave for Dhaka on March 14.
