Hafiz Saeed wants Nawaz to call OIC conference over Gaza massacre

LAHORE: Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed on Sunday demanded from the Prime Minister of Pakistan to call an Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) conference on the issue of Gaza genocide, ARY News reported.

Speaking during a rally organized by JuD to condemn Israeli aggression on Gaza, Saeed lamented that United Nations (UN) has failed to resolve the crisis and the situation calls for the Islamic bloc to come forward and play its role.

Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan (JI)’s deputy secretary general Fareed Paracha stressed on the need of unity between Islamic countries and joint strategy in this hour of test.

Usama Hamdan, the leader of Hamas (Palestinian organization fighting Israel) foreign affairs on this occasion, said that Muslim countries especially Pakistan should play its role in ending the Gaza crisis. He was speaking through telephone.

PML-N MNA Malik Rasheed, PML-Q Lahore President Mian Muneer, JUI-F Information secretary Maulana Amjad, Jamiat-e-AhleHadith leader Abdul Ghaffar Ropri and many other political, religious leaders spoke on the rally and condemned Israeli offensive on Gaza.
