KARACHI: The preparations for funeral prayers and last rites of founding Chairman of ARY Group Haji Abdul Razzak Yaqoob have been underway in Karachi. 

Haji Abdul Razzak will be laid to rest in Karachi on Tuesday February 25, ARY News reports. 

Haji Abdul Razzak passed away in a hospital in London on Friday. He was 69 years old. 

ARY family has expressed gratitude to the people who remembered them and condoled over the great tragedy. 

Haji Abdul Razzak was honoured with several national and international awards for his service to the humanity. 

He was paid tribute by the British royal family and United Arab Emirates. Several diplomats also condoled with the bereaved family as large number of people visiting the residence of Haji Abdul Razzak in Karachi to pay respects to him and condole with his family. 

Moreover, special prayers were held at Golra Sharif, Data Darbar and other shrines and mosques throughout the country. The participants prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul. 

Prayers for eternal peace of Haji Abdul Razzak were also held at Nizamudding Aulia shrine in Delhi and Ajmer Sharif. 

Moreover, Quran Khwani and special prayers were held at London Jama Masjid attended by religious, social and political leaders. A condolence meeting of Mujaddid Alaf Saani Trust was held in which the demise of Haji Abdul Razzak was called great tragedy.
