Hajj 2017: First flight to depart from Islamabad on July 24

ISLAMABAD: The first flight for Hajj will depart on July 24 from Islamabad and will seen off by Religious Affairs Minister Sardar Yusuf.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony on Friday released the schedule for Haj flights operation which will commence on July 24 and continue on August 26.

The first flight will depart to the holy city of Madinnah from Islamabad on July 24.

Four airlines – Pakistan International Airlines, Saudi Airline, Air Blue, and Shaheen Air – will take part in Hajj flight operations.

The return flights for pilgrims will start from September 6 and will continue till October 6, 2017.

More than 107,000 people will perform the the annual pilgrimage through government scheme, and nearly 72,000 will go through private operators.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has also developed a website where intending pilgrims can check their flight schedule.
