LAHORE: Member National Assembly Hamza Shahbaz, son of Punjab chief minister, is on a hit-list of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, ARY News reported Wednesday.
In a letter sent by intelligence agency to Government of Punjab, it is stated that the TTP had threatened to kidnap Hamza.
The intelligence agency asked the provincial administration to beef up security to the MNA, who is also a son of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
In view of a security threat, the government has decided to keep movements of Hamza Shahbaz secret.
Sons of former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gillani and Salman Taseer have been kidnapped by the militants, but so far both of them could not be recovered.
