Bollywood’s King Khan starrer biggest hit of the year Happy New Year was screened at the 14th Marrakesh International Film Festival. The film was screened in the presence of the director of the film Farah Khan and its two pivotal characters Boman Irani and Abhishek Bachchan.
A big crowd was gathered to get a glimpse of their favorite stars at the Jemaa El Fna Square in Morocco on 6th December. The trio also attended the Royal dinner hosted by president of the festival foundation Prince Moulay Rachid.
Although the King Khan could not make it to Morocco, he sent a special video message for his fans which was played on the Square before the screening of the film. Happy New Year was the only Indian film, which was screened in Marakech Film Festival this year.
HNY starring Deepika Padukone, Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani and Vivaan Shah is the ultimate underdog story where a team of losers pull off a big diamond heist, the film was released on 24th October 2014.
