Talking to media after meeting the PTI delegation, Javed Hashmi said that he is still part of PTI and will participate in the long march. He said that this is a defining moment in the history of the country for which he has traveled to far-flung areas of Punjab, in order to mobilize the people to join in the struggle of their rights.
Hashmi said he had certain reservations on the ‘technocrats’ government’ as said by the PTI chairman.
He added that Imran Khan held half an hour long telephonic conversation with him, during which the party chief told, “He had talked about the technocrats’ government in a different context and it will be elaborated soon”.
The PTI leader said that he stands clear in his views and the explanation by the party chief was enough for his satisfaction.
Makhdoom Javed Hashmi said the supremacy of constitution is our first and foremost responsibility and that a martial law will be imposed after passing over his dead body.
Moreover, PTI leader, Arif Alvi thanked Hashmi for understanding party’s stance and agreeing upon participating in the PTI-led long march.
