‘Having PAF, Pakistan needs no drones’

ISLAMABAD: Federal ministers and the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) briefed the foreign media on the ongoing operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan here on Tuesday. It was said that in the presence of Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Pakistan needs not any drones in its air-space, while Afghanistan should take an action for apprehending Mullah Fazlullah – ARY News reports.

While briefing foreign media on operation Zarb-e-Azb against terrorists, members of the Federal Cabinet and ISPR officials told that North Waziristan had become the center of militants in Pakistan, where the offensive shall be continued till complete establishment of the state writ.

It was elaborated that the operation shall be conducted in four different stages, in the first place all the terrorists will be curbed, while in the end a developed and prosper Waziristan shall be handed over to the locals.

Officials made it clear to the foreign media that in the presence of PAF, Pakistan needs not drones or any other assistance by foreign forces, within its territorial boundaries and militants will be chased all over the country, once the offensive is accomplished in North Waziristan.

They also briefed the foreign journalists that Afghanistan will have to take an action to arrest the TTP supremo, Mullah Fazlullah, who is supposed to be hiding somewhere in Afghan province, Kunar.

It was further said that Pakistani soil will not be allowed to be used for terrorism, whereas the international fraternity was also urged to admit the role of Pakistan in the war against terror.
