A spokesman of the met office in weather forecast said that monsoon currents have started to penetrate in southern parts of the country that will produce rain and thunderstorm at scattered places of Sindh with intermittent rain in Karachi during next three days.
The weather forecasts of international media, predict a cloudy weather with chances of thunder storm and rainfall from today till the weekend. A weather advisory of British media has predicted heavy rainfall in Karachi on Friday and Saturday.
Southern Punjab divisions of Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan and Bahawalpur, D. I. Khan and Bannu divisions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and parts of Balochistan including Zhob, Sibbi, Naseerabad and Kalat divisions will also receive showers from Thursday to Saturday, the advisory said.
Isolated heavy falls may also occur in Sindh, South Punjab, Lower KP and Balochistan in next 2-3 days that may generate flash flooding in Nullahs and streams, weather forecast said.
