Huawei unveils flagship business styled MateBook X

The Huawei MateBook released last February was never meant to be a solitary piece of technology compatible with Huawei Mate and P series smartphones.

Huawei on Tuesday unveiled a new addition to the Matebook line. The MateBook X has a 13-inch flagship and is even smaller than an A4 paper.

MateBook X is light, powerful and portable and completing rethinks the personal computer.  It has a sleek 13-inch screen, 12.5mm thickness and weighs just 1.05 kilograms.


MateBook X effortlessly integrates work and life, and is portable enough to change the world from anywhere you want.

The MateBook X is small yet mighty with the 7th Generation Intel Core i7 processor delivering performance for both work and entertainment.

Aerospace engineering allows Huawei MateBook X to stay cool as the phase change material used in the space industry means that overheating is a thing of the past.

MateBook X’s two-in-one power button and fingerprint recognition sensor helps users boot up quickly and safely to operate at the speed of your life.

The all-metal chassis comes in three colours including space gray, prestige gold, and rose gold. It is expected to be shipped to US and UK by July.

The MateBook X supports the Dolby Atmos Sound System which goes beyond software optimisations and was co-designed with Dolby to achieve unprecedented sound quality.
