ARY Films’ Jawani Phir Nahi Ani was one of the most successful films in recent times to originate from Pakistan and also grossed an astronomical amount at the box office. Humayun had the leading role in the film and its success attracted the eye of Indian director and Saeed’s close friend Mahesh Bhatt, who offered him a role in his movie Dushman.

However, according to Hip In Pakistan, the actor has stepped out of Bhatt’s project, owing to his hectic filming schedule. Humayun has chosen to focus more on films from his home production. Humayun said that it was difficult for him to make new commitments and for the very same reason he had opted out of Shaan Shahid’s Arth 2.

Humayun Saeed revealed that he was going to Romania with director Nadeem Baig for a romantic whereas Vasay Chaudhry was busy writing Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2.
“I’m going to Romania with Nadeem Baig and Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar for a home production which is a romantic film; the cast however hasn’t yet been finalized. Vasay is writing JPNA 2 and we have almost finalized the plot of the movie,” he revealed.

Mahesh had come all the way from India for the premiere of JPNA and supported Humayun Saeed. An admirer of Pakistani films, he has issued several statements in favour of not only Pakistan but also the Pakistani film industry.

Here’s hoping Humayun Saeed will make the best choices and entertain us a whole lot more with films from his home production!
