Hurriyat leader Yasin Malik hospitalized

SRINAGAR: Illegally detained Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik was admitted to a hospital in Srinagar over complaint of severe back pain, Kashmir Media Service reported. 

According to details, the statement issued by JKLF read that Yasin Malik was taken to the Soura Institute of Medical Science in Srinagar for treatment where he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

The statement added that the Hurriyat leader had been complaining of severe back ache the past several days and confinement in a small room had actually aggravated his already fragile health.

Malik is a chronic heart patient who has to take blood thinner medicine on daily basis and go through regular heart check-up, the statement wrote.

Earlier today, Joint Resistance Leadership said India is repeatedly devising tactics to erode the disputed status of Jammu and Kashmir by fiddling with the state subject laws in order to change the demographic composition of the territory, Kashmir Media Service (KMS) reported.

As per details, the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL), comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik, in a statement issued said, the new controversy about Permanent Resident Certificates (PRCs), as reported in media, is part of the Doval doctrine borrowed from Israel.
