TOP NEWS

Speaking to a local media channel, Chand Nawab stated that he did not know he was being caricatured in the movie. Just 2 days prior to the film’s release, Chand Nawab was informed that he was being portrayed in the movie by stellar Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

Chand Nawab stated that at first he could not believe that he had been portrayed by Siddiqui, however when he watched the film, only then did he see for himself. Nawab also stated that in the movie, Nawazuddin spoke his dialogues and also selected the place similar to where his viral video had been shot. Chand Nawab thanked director Kabir Khan, actor Salman Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui for choosing to portray him in the film.

“I have become famous and have been receiving phone calls from around the world,” said Chand Nawab to a private news channel. He stated that he would not file any case against Salman Khan or Bajrangi Bhaijaan but that his dialogues and role in the film also helped to make the movie a success. He requested Salman Khan to provide him with compensation for the movie’s success.

He also said that he forgave all those who had downloaded his video from the internet, which was full of mistakes and caused him to struggle for a job for six years. He stated that when politicians break glasses on live shows and indulge in name-calling, they are not victimized. However, his small mistake was taken out of proportion, which caused him suffering.

Chand Nawab stated that he would never become arrogant on account of the fame that he had been blessed with. He thanked the nation for praying for him and stated that he had achieved fame because of their prayers alone. He revealed that when he spoke to Salman, the actor had offered him to star in movies. However, he said that for him, journalism was more important.
