IAs apprehend 3 accused of Nanga Parbat Incident

ISLAMABAD: Intelligence Agencies (IAs) during a raid here on Monday, nabbed 3 accused of the Nanga Parbat Incident – ARY News reports.

According to details, IAs conducted a raid near Convention Center on a tip-off and apprehended 3 accused from there. The arrested accused are reported to be involved in the killing of foreign tourists at Nanga Parbat base camp.

Sources told that, among the 3 arrested, 1 was identified as Hafeezullah.

It may be mentioned that terrorists had killed 10 foreign and one Pakistani tourist on June 30 in Diamer on the Nanga Parbat Base Camp.

Earlier on June 22, 2013, about 16 militants, reportedly dressed in Gilgit Scouts uniform, had stormed a high-altitude mountaineering base camp in Gilgit–Baltistan, Pakistan and killed 10 climbers, as well as a local guide.

Among the climbers killed 3 were from Ukraine, 2 from China including one Chinese-American, 2 from Slovakia, 1 from Lithuania and another from Nepal.
