Ibrahim hopes to turn truce in permanent ceasefire

ISLAMABAD: The efforts are underway to turn a temporary truce in permanent ceasefire, a member of Taliban talks team said. 

Professor Ibrahim in an exclusive chat with ARY News said he was hopeful for the success of the peace efforts. 

Ibrahim, while talking to foreign media had said that Shura members of Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan Qari Shakeel, Azam Tariq, Moulvi Zakir and Moulvi Bashir will hold talks with the members of the government's negotiating team. He said, he and Maulana Yousuf Shah will attend the negotiations as observers. 

Prof. Ibrahim had earlier said that a representative of ISI could also attend the talks between the government and Taliban.
