Military should join talks or have trust in Gov't, says Ibrahim

PESHAWAR: Member of Taliban-nominated committee, Professor Ibrahim has urged the military to become a part of Taliban Talks directly, or to have trust in the Government. He added that passing statements is affecting the peace process and the committee is awaiting Government's answer to proceed with talks – ARY News reports.

According to details, Professor Ibrahim said that if somebody has reservations on negotiations, then he should come forth himself, statements are harming the peace process. He urged military to have confidence in the Government.

Ibrahim told that the Government is busy regarding the trial of former President, Pervez Musharraf and the Taliban-nominated committee is awaiting an answer to proceed further the dialogue process.

The member of Taliban committee in his exclusive word with ARY News, declared talks to be the only solution to the issue and vowed to strive for peace despite of opposition by certain groups.
