ICC releases ODI Ranking

DUBAI: International Cricket Council (ICC) released the revised ODI Ranking on Sunday in which the top two spot in the batsmen list were acquired the South African batsmen, ARY News reported.

In the Reliance ICC Player Rankings for ODI Batsmen, South Africa’s skipper AB de Villiers, who finished the series against ODI series against Sri Lanka as the leading run-getter with 258 runs ranked number-one followed by his team mate Hashim Amla, who scored centuries in the opening two matches at second position. Amla has gained two places and now trails de Villiers by 17 ratings points.

Captain of national cricket team, Misbah-ul-Haq – ranked seventh, is the only Pakistani batsmen in the top ten.

Meanwhile, in ICC Ranking for ODI Bolwers, Dosra specialist Saeed Ajmal is enjoying the top spot. West Indian spinner Sunil Narine at second while English pacer James Anderson is at third.

There wasn’t any change in the Ranking for ODI All-Rounder in which Pakistan’s Mohammad Hafeez ranked number one followed by Shakib Al Hassan of Bangladesh and Angelo Mathews at second and third respectively.
