IDPs getting ration, financial help from govt, army

BANNU: Pakistan govt and army is helping Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and affectees of military operation in North Waziristan to the best of their ability, ARY News reported.

IDPs are getting forty thousand rupees per family as a part of Ramzan Package besides getting five thousand rupees as Eid gift from government.

The amount is being distributed through mobile phone networks and for this purpose, around 22 thousand SIMs have been activated.

According to ISPR, Pakistan Army has sent another 220 tonnes of ration to Bannu IDP camp.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s ruling party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s MPA Asad Qaiser in a press conference said that 34 crore, 61 lac, 54 thousand rupees have been distributed in 120 IDP families.

Meanwhile, FATA Disaster Management Authority has claimed that they have registered 852,495 IDPS of 71,654 families.
