According to details, huge number families have been departed to Khyber Agency. The federal government and National Disaster Management Authority are providing assistance to the returning IDPs in the form of cash assistance of Rs.25,000 rupees per family, besides Rs.10,000 as transportation charges.
Furthermore, IDPs have been issued ATM cards and SIM cards. Each family is being provided a tent, one standard non-food item pack, one hygiene kit and Monthly Food Package for six months.
About 13,000 internally displaced families of Khyber Agency, South Waziristan and North Waziristan have so far returned to their homes.
