KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has declared the former Chief Justice, Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry to be responsible of the Islamabad Court Attack – ARY News reports.
In his message on a social website today, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry is responsible for the Islamabad Court Attack, for he had rejected the proposed project of making Islamabad a safe city, while he was the Chief Justice of Pakistan.
Earlier on Monday, at least 11 people were killed including a judge and a female lawyer, whilst 30 others were injured as a result of an attack by terrorists at a district court in the federal capital.
The attack was figured at such a time when Taliban had announced an unconditional ceasefire against law enforcement agencies (LEAs) and the Government and political circles were hopeful for advancement in the negotiations process.
After the Islamabad Court Attack, numerous questions aroused pertaining to the safety and security of the federal capital, dialogue process with Taliban, whilst some analyst and statesmen also talked of a foreign hand to be behind this in order to derail the ongoing peace process between the Government of Pakistan and Taliban.
