IG Sindh vows to act against terrorists regardless of their background
KARACHI: Inspector General Sindh Police AD Khawaja on Thursday said action would be taken against whoever found speaking against Pakistan whether it is Muttahida Qaumi Movement–Pakistan (MQM) or MQM—London, ARY News reported.
He appreciated the role of madrasahs (religious seminaries) in society and said action would be taken against whoever found involved in terrorism whether from madrasah or university.
“We will support those who will work within legal boundaries, otherwise action will be taken against the culprit,” he said.
The IG Sindh said National Action Plan (NAP) was in progress and there was no hurdle in implementation of NAP in interior Sindh.
“Scores of terrorists have been arrested and detained, while work on Fourth Schedule is also underway,” he said.
