Chief Justice of IHC Anwar Kasi and Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui had heard the first and second hearing respectively. Justice Aziz had forwarded the recommendation to Chief Justice Anwar Kasi for forming a larger bench to hear the case.
The bench will comprise of CJ IHC Anwar Kasi, Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui and Justice Athar Minallah.
The petition challenges the calling of military in Islamabad under Article 245 of the constitution to the assistance of the civil administration.
