While hearing a petition filed by PEMRA employees, Justice Noorullah Qureshi sought a written explanation by the acting PEMRA chairman, Pervez Rathore.
Advocate Shoaib Shaheen appeared before the court on behalf of GM PEMRA, Haji Adam and other four employees.
It was stated before the court that acting PEMRA chief has also registered an FIR against the petitioner employees.
The counsel of the petitioners took the stance that according to PEMRA Ordinance, an acting PEMRA chief cannot take any action against employees, nor can he issue show-cause notices to them.
