I'm not afraid of Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman, says Imran Khan
LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan vowed to contend Geo and Jang Group owner Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman regardless of his character assassination, ARY News reported.
While addressing the PTI’s Worker Convention in Lahore on Tuesday, Imran Khan said that he is not afraid of Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman and will continue his struggle against Geo and Jang group owner.
“Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman should keep one thing in mind, as much as he blackmail me with false propaganda and lie, I will speak the same amount of truth to counter my character assassination”, he added.
Imran Khan said on May 11, PTI will come out to save Pakistan revealing that PTI’s motive behind protest isn’t to bring the government down or to sabotage the country or to spread anarchy among the people rather to strengthen the democracy.
PTI Chief said his party has accepted the election but not rigging. He said PTI is being alleged for not asking the investigation of four constituencies, however PTI asked every authority including Election Commission and tribunal to have these constituencies re-checked but remained fail to achieve justice, he added.
Imran Khan said present government remained unsuccessful to solve the basic issues of a common man rather hiked the inflation, weaken the economy and increased the circular debt of the country.
