IM bans pillion riding in Islamabad from Muharram 8-10

ISLAMABAD: The Interior Ministry (IM) has imposed a ban on pillion riding in the federal capital which will be in effect from Muharram 8-10, ARY News reported.

According to details, the Ministry of Interior held a meeting earlier today during which the officials decided to partially suspend cellular services in Islamabad, by placing jammers alongside the route of processions.

They also decided to put a ban on pillion riding in the capital for a period of three days (Muharram 8-10), in order to avoid any untoward incident.

Moreover, the additional deputy commissioner (DC) Islamabad also visited various imambargahs to review the situation of security over there.
