IM forms joint investigation committee on Islamabad Court Attack
ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Interior has formed a joint investigation committee for probing into the Islamabad Court Attack, which will be headed by the SSP Islamabad – ARY News reports.
According to details, the investigation team formed by the Interior Ministry will comprise of officials from Inter Services Intelligence (ISI), Intelligence Bureau (IB) and Police. Sources told that the committee will be headed by the SSP Islamabad.
It was further reported that the Interior Ministry has charged the Chief Commissioner Islamabad to supervise the joint investigation committee.
Moreover, the SSP, SP, SHO Margalla police station and personnel of the Crime Investigation Department (CID) will also assist the investigations of the Islamabad Court Attack.
Yesterday, at least 11 people were killed including a judge, whilst 30 others were injured as a result of an attack by terrorists at Islamabad district court.
