Imam-e-Kaaba calls on PM Nawaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD: Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Saleh Bin Muhammad Ibrahim called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif here on Saturday, ARY News reported.

During the meeting, Nawaz Sharif said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia shares historical ties being two Muslim nations. He stressed on Muslims unity by stating that religious scholars should counter negative propaganda against Islam and promote the message of love, peace, and patience across the world.

The Imam-e-Kaaba thanked the premier for the warm welcome and special arrangements made in his honour.

On the occasion, Saudi Minister for Religious Affairs Sheikh Saleh bin Abdul Aziz bin Muhammad Al Sheikh was also present.

The Imam-e-Kaaba will also visit Parliament House today where he will head Maghrib (sunset) prayer.

On Friday, the Imam of Kaaba had delivered sermon at the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl’s (JUI-F) centennial celebrations in Aza Khel, Nowshera.

In the sermon, he said that success lies in the Quranic teachings and Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

The Imam, with a 10-member delegation from Saudi Arabia, has come from Saudi Arabia for the occasion.
