Imam-e-Kaaba, COAS agree to boost efforts for peace among Muslim Ummah

RAWAPINDI: Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Dr Abdullah Awad Al Juhany here on Monday called on Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi, said Inter-Services Public Relations.

According to the military’s media wing, Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Dr Abdullah Awad Al Juhany and COAS Qamar Javed Bajwa agreed to boost efforts for peace among Muslim Ummah.

Talking to  the COAS, Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Dr Abdullah Awad Al Juhany said, “Pakistan has significant importance in Muslim Ummah.” He said that Pakistan’s role for regional peace and stability was praiseworthy.

Both the leaders expressed satisfaction over the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, said ISPR.

Earlier in the day, President Dr Arif Alvi said that Pakistan greatly valued its brotherly relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This he stated while talking to Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Dr Abdullah Awad Al Juhany, who called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad, today.

He said both the countries had shared bonds of history, culture, traditions, faith and values.

Recalling the highly successful visit of the Crown Prince His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad Bin Salman to Pakistan, the President stated that Crown Prince won the hearts of Pakistani people by his generous offer of support to Pakistani community.
