LAHORE: Chief Commissioner of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Doctor Irshad said that tax return from trade sector should be accepted as it is, ARY News reported.
While addressing in a ceremony organized by Liberty Market Tax Facility in Lahore on Tuesday, Chief Commissioner FBR said that self assessment scheme is being continued.
“Traders, who pay 25 per cent more tax as compare to previous year will be facilitated”, he added.
Doctor Irshad said that business community is the backbone of economy and if traders not pay tax country’s economy will get stuck.
He said that actions will be taken against the corrupt elements while tax payers will not be disturbed.
