Imran advises CM KP to halt use of discretionary funds

ISLAMABAD: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan has advised the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) to immediately halt all kinds of use of discretionary funds, in the province – ARY News reports.

In a statement issued from the PTI central media cell, Imran Khan urged for ending completely the practice of spending and distributing public wealth upon one's discretion.

Imran, in his statement addressed to the CM Pervez Khattak, advised him to quit this tradition, by taking an initiative himself and then later extending it up to other ministers and officials.

He mentioned that a formal testing of every single penny spent by the Government, from the tax collected by the people, is highly necessary.

The PTI chairman vowed to form an exemplary Government and to fulfill all requirements of accountability.

In his message, Imran Khan hoped that the PTI-led KP Government will pay attention to this issue like other administrative affairs and will set an example again.
