ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister, Pervez Rasheed strongly criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan, saying that he is always in a bid ‘to drone’ the economy and democracy in Pakistan – ARY News reports.

Rasheed said that all the indicators are showing economic recovery in the state and for this IMF has also expressed its confidence about betterment in the economy of Pakistan. He added that all this is a result of the efforts of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) Government.

The Information Minister said that when we took over the state‚ there were energy and economic crises, law and order situation of the state was deteriorating, but we accepted all the challenges and devised an effective strategy to cope with them.

Elaborating the goals achieved by the Government, the Federal Minister said that not only Rs 500 billion were paid at the cost of circular debt, but 1800 megawatts of electricity was also induced in the national grid. He told that the PMLN Government also brought more people into the tax-net increasing the overall tax collection by 17 percent.
