ISLAMABAD: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan has appealed the Pakistan Army to stop bombardment in North Waziristan. He also claimed that a sense of deprivation is increasing among smaller provinces, due to the steps taken by the Federal Government – ARY News reports.

Addressing a press conference after the meeting of PTI's core-committee, Imran Khan said that women and children are at great risk due to bombardment in North Waziristan and appealed the Pakistan Army to stop airstrikes.

The PTI Chairman further remarked that Pervez Ilahi's reign was way better than Shahbaz Sharif's current period in Punjab and inquired how come PMLN secured excessive votes, despite these facts.

He also slammed the Federation for initiating metro train project in Lahore and overlooking Karachi and its needs of public transport.

Imran Khan claimed that the power production will be increased in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), while its cost will also decline, once the power generation and distribution is handed over to PTI-Government in the province.
