ISLAMABAD: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan has said that no media house can act upon an agenda against national interests, after receiving funds from foreign countries. He appealed the entire Pakistani nation to boycott Geo TV – ARY News reports.
Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Imran Khan said that Geo News acquired funds from foreign countries and acted upon foreign agenda, putting aside the national interests of Pakistan. He said that Mir Shakil ur Rehman is pursuing his own interests through his media house, sitting back in Dubai.
Khan further stated that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) and Geo TV are share the same bond and have same interests.
He said that the media house leveled allegations on DG ISI, Lieutenant General Zaheer ul Islam, upon the consent of Mir Shakil.
Moreover, the PTI Chairman appealed the entire Pakistani nation to boycott Geo TV.
