Addressing a mammoth rally in Okara with regard to NA-144 by-polls, Khan said he has no regrets for not becoming the prime minister; rather he is satisfied for generating awareness among the people.

Quoting renowned Muslim historian Ibne Khaldun, he said the nations develop only because of justice and Pakistan lags behind due to the absence of social justice.

He lamented that the current system of country is based on cruelty.

Taking exception to PM Sharif, the PTI chief said the premier today is acquiring loans from IMF on higher interest rates, to pay back previous loans.

“I have not only come here for the sake of by-polls, the purpose of my visit is rather to organize youth for a huge movement,” said Imran Khan.

He said that he is aware of the absence of boundary walls and other basic facilities at the schools in Okara as well as lack of jobs for youth, adding, “If Danish Schools were not established then this amount could be spent on providing basic facilities to 21000 public schools”.

Criticizing government further, the PTI chief said the kisans in India get electricity for 97 paisa per unit, yet the farmers here pay Rs 10 a unit.

During his address, the skipper charged PM Sharif with money laundering, tax evasion and other crimes.

He said the prime minister and his team are only experienced in making money through corruption.
