Imran clamours for entire election audit

TOP NEWS

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should resign in the wake of mishandling of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) issue, he told a news conference in Islamabad.

The PTI chief, regarding his party’s scheduled aazadi march (independence march) on August 14, said army’s parade would be in the morning, while march would be taken out in the evening. He questioned how it could disrupt peace of the country.

It will be an end of government if they [government] attempted to stop our peaceful march in Islamabad on August 14, Khan warned.

He lashed out at the Nawaz-led government, saying load-shedding had increased during this government’s tenure. PPP’s term was far better than the PML-N’s. I am pleased to see the statement of Asif Zardari in favour of recount of four constituencies of Punjab. But the talk of four constituencies recount has gone back, now entire election audit should be conducted, he said.

He said no one in Pakistan was happy with the performance of incumbent government.

Khan asked why Shahbaz did not resign after Model Town incident. He went on to say that why Abid Sher Ali did not resign on failure of Nandipur Power Project.
