Imran considers supremacy of law essential for peace in Karachi

KARACHI: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan said on Saturday to attain peace in Karachi supremacy of law should be implemented, ARY News reported.

While talking to media at Karachi Airport, Imran Khan said some elements do not want peace in Karachi suggesting the Police to work non-politically.

Speaking about Negotiations with Taliban, Chairman PTI said the majority of Taliban wants peace in the country. He said over 6000 operations have been conducted during last ten years which resulted in the increase in terrorism.

Imran Khan expressed hope for the positive results of peace talks with Taiban.

He denied rumors about having any forward bloc in PTI saying that reservations of angry members are being removed.
