Imran demands Gov't to act upon APC's resolve

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan has demanded the Government to act upon the resolution passed at the All Parties Conference (APC) hosted by the Government itself in September last year, whilst he also declared Dr Shakeel Afridi to be responsible of spreading polio virus – ARY News reports.

Addressing a press conference here on Friday, the PTI Chairman stated that Chairman of National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) Tariq Malik was forced to resign from his post in order to prevent the verification of votes on the basis of thumbprints.

During his talk, Imran Khan also expressed his reservations on the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

He further revealed that the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Pervez Khattak has been seeking time from the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to meet him and discuss affairs relating to Taliban.

Returning to a question, Imran Khan expressed his full confidence in Pervez Khattak and clarified that the CM KP is not being replaced.

Moreover, the PTI Chief stated that an anti-polio drive will soon be kicked off in the province.
