Imran demands Gov't to call in-camera session of Parliament

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan has demanded the Government to call an in-camera session of the Parliament on the security situation of the country and also to provide details of possible military offensive in the tribal areas – ARY News reports.

According to details, Imran Khan chaired the meeting of PTI's core committee here on Tuesday.

During the meeting, PTI members strongly denounced recent terrorist attacks on the security forces of Pakistan. Imran Khan also condemned the act of the Prime Minister in which he had asked Molana Sami ul Haq to agree Taliban not to carry out attacks in Punjab.

The meeting also expressed concerns at the non-accomplishment of the counter-terrorism policy by the Federal Government despite 9 months have passed.

It was demanded at the meeting that common people must be evacuated from their areas prior to any air attack in the tribal region.

He once again urged the Government to rate an operation to be the last way out against the extremists.
