Imran denounces TTP threats to Ismaili, Kailash communities
ISLAMABAD: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan while taking notice of a video issued by Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), threatening Ismaili and Kailash communities of dire consequences, has strongly denounced it – ARY News reports.
The Chairman PTI demanded the Government to insure the security of people belonging to Ismaili community and Kailash valley civilization.
He added that the Ismaili community has played a significant role in founding Pakistan and since then its part in the progress of the country can never be forgotten.
Imran Khan said that the constitution of Pakistan holds the government responsible for the safety of all its citizens, whilst he mentioned that his party is comprised of all the ethnic groups and it respects everyone.
He stated that Tehreek-e-Insaf acknowledges the role of minorities in the development of Pakistan and a threat to a peaceful Pakistani community will not be tolerated at all.
While referring to Misaq-e-Madina, the PTI Chief mentioned that Islam insures the safety of non-Muslim citizens and declared the state to be responsible of it.
