Imran determined to build cancer hospital in Karachi
LAHORE: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan has said that the people still congratulate him on the establishment of Shaukat Khanum Hospital, despite of the fact that so much has passed since it was constructed – ARY News reports.
Addressing a ceremony at the Shaukat Khanum Hospital here on Tuesday, Imran Khan vowed to avoid past mistakes in future and to build a cancer hospital in Karachi, about which he claimed that talks are underway.
He told that the construction of such a mega hospital, free treatment of 70 percent poor patients and a yearly collection of 340 crore rupees is no less than a miracle in itself.
Khan further expressed his determination to work for the poor people suffering from cancer.
