He was addressing a public gathering at Nishtar Park where he said that Nawaz Sharif has destroyed institutions and the country would not prosper if he does not step down. He said that he will bring the whole nation to Raiwind and hold him answerable.

He said that the Sharif was among the eight world leader named in the  Panama Papers. Despite that the National Assembly speaker had sent a reference against him, and the Supreme Court has declared their petition as frivolous and non-serious.

In democracy a leader cannot plunder and even powerful leaders like the Shah of Iran, Hosni Mubarak, Saddam Hussain and Muamer Qadhafi fell when the people rose against them. Even Richard Nixon was forced to resign and British parliamentarians were imprisoned for misuse of public funds.

As expected he strongly criticised the MQM founder Altaf Hussain and said that he has decided to visit Karachi after he raised anti-Pakistan  slogans. He said that Karachi would have been a prosperous city if it had not been for the reign of terror of the MQM over the city since the last 25 years.

On the occasion of Defence Day, he recalled the patriotism and optimism  which kindled a desire for him to join the Army.  “I remember the war of 1965 and still remember the unity of this nation,” he said.

However,  the country unfortunately went down from a flourishing to a poor country, witnessed the succession of East Pakistan, after that came a period when Altaf Hussain snatched the lights of Karachi.

“Karachi is the heart of Pakistan” and if the financial hub is not at peace then the whole country gets affected. He said that Altaf Hussain was responsible for the killing of thousands of people in Karachi while being himself safe in London.

He said that Altaf had called Pakistan source of terrorism in the world and called for its breakup. Therefore, it was time that people of Karachi shun their reign of terror as the secret to living is overcoming the fear of death.

He said tha sixty percent of the revenue of Pakistan was from Karachi, and the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had claimed that daily corruption was Rs12 billion. This means that Karachi was deprived of Rs7 billion daily and will immensely prosper if the money is spent on it.

He was of utmost importance that the police force in Karachi was depoliticised and made independent after which there would be need for Rangers. He also vowed to introduce an empowered local government system in Karachi such as in Khyber Pakhtunkwa.

He said that the Muhajir community does not need to prove its patriotism, and he had himself played with Javed Miandad who was one of the greatest  cricketer, and even Indian umpires used to give biased decisions against him.

The event ended with an  homage to the armed forces s for their efforts for decreasing terrorism.
