ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday highlighted that the biggest plots’ auction organised by Capital Development Authority (CDA) [Islamabad] resulted in ‘highest ever return’ of Rs11.28 billion, ARY News reported.
In his Friday’s tweet, PM Imran Khan praised organisation of the four-day plots’ auctioning event by the development authority in Islamabad, the decision which has generated a handsome amount of profit for CDA.
The premier emphasised that the development sheds light on two important facts; ‘One, it is a vote of confidence in future of Pakistan’s economy.’
He added, “Two, it reveals how much money has been lost in the past because of non-transparent, corrupt practices.”

A press release issued by CDA said that the authority auctioned commercial plots in different developed sectors of Islamabad on Wednesday (yesterday) where eight commercial plots were auctioned Rs4.048 billion while on the first and second day of the auction of residential plots 31 residential plots, were sold out approximately Rs1.254 billion.
