Imran Khan demands to establish a new election commission

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI), Imran Khan warned on Sunday that those who were brought up in the nursery of Army dictator cannot restrict PTI’s tsunami, ARY News reported.

Addressing the rally organized by the PTI to protest the rigging in the general election, Imran Khan said that after witnessing Pakistan Muslim League’s (PML-N) way of governance he realized that former President Asif Ali Zardari governed the country in much better way.

He demanded to make the electoral process free and fair and to establish a new election commission.
Imran Khan asked that overseas Pakistanis should be given the right to vote. He invited all political parties that believe the elections were not fair to join the PTI in its effort to fix the system. 

He made a request to the judiciary to investigate the rigging carried in last general elections and to bring to justice those who were involved in it.

Asking for the improvement in election process, he alleged that public’s mandate was stolen in last election.

Chairman PTI further demanded that caretaker government should be free of person who was responsible for 35 punctures.

Imran Khan said Geo and Jang group has been working on foreign agenda for the sake of money. He asked owner of Geo and Jang group Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman that how much he is taking from UK and India for destabilizing the country.

“Stop black mailing me, I am not afraid of you and ready to compete you”, Imran said to Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman.

He announced to hold the next protest rally in Faisalabad on May 23 adding if election rigging was not investigated, there will be protests in front of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) offices every Friday.

Imran Khan announced a 9-point charter of demands that aims to make the election process free and fair.
