Imran Khan denies any irregularities in party funds
LAHORE: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan has turned down the allegations of irregularities in party funds by a PTI worker from United States (US) – ARY News reports.
Addressing a ceremony organized here with respect to overseas Pakistanis, Imran Khan told that PTI is the only party which held the intra-party elections and it gained enough popularity within no time.
The PTI Chairman admitted that he did commit some mistakes, but the allegations by a person regarding irregularities in party funds, are all baseless.
He mentioned that the audit of the funds was done by renowned companies, held by the opponents of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), this is why no question lies regarding financial irregularities.
Khan declared the man alleging irregularities as a liar and stated that it was the first time in his life that he had to force out anyone of his home.
Moreover, the PTI Chairman claimed that some PMLN workers are behind this drama.
