ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Wednesday said that he fears that the recent release and return of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is because of a deal between the party and the ruling Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N).
“Dr Asim Hussain has been released, Ayyan Ali fled abroad and Sharjeel Memon who is facing corruption charges has returned which I fear is due to a deal between them (Zardari and Nawaz,” said Imran Khan.
He reminded the press that Chaudhry Nisar once said in a press conference that PPP is demanding a deal to secure Ayyan Ali and Asim Hussain’s release.
“Its a deal, whenever they both fear accountability, they unite citing threats to democracy, this is Noora Kushti (foulplay),” said Imran Khan.
