Imran Khan spending several crores on rallies alone, returns Pervez Rasheed
ISLAMABAD: The Federal Information Minister, Pervez Rasheed has said that on one side PTI Chairman is spending several crores on his rallies, while on the other the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif cut short the expenses of PM House by 40 percent, shortly after he assumed the office – ARY News reports.
The Information Minister, Pervez Rasheed told that Nawaz Sharif after taking the charge as the Prime Minister, cut short the expenses of PM House by 40 percent, while Imran Khan spent a whopping sum of Rs 37 crore 70 lac, for holding rallies only.
He told that Khan could also spent this amount for facilitating the internally displaced persons (IDPs) of North Waziristan, hospitals and schools could be established there.
Rasheed said that the Government of Pakistan also had to spend millions of rupees for providing security to PTI’s rallies and processions, had the Government not spent this amount, it could be utilized in providing a day’s ration to each family of North Waziristan.
